History
The roots of Pavlock Trucking were planted within the halls of Steel Valley High School right outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1983. Two childhood friends, Michael Pavasko Sr. and Samuel Sherlock Jr had always had a shared work-ethic from their blue collar upbringing. This mentality has been fundamental to the survival, growth, and stability of Pavlock Trucking. Michael Pavasko Jr. and Samuel Sherlock the 3rd are at the helm of Pavlock (Pavasko+Sherlock) Trucking 40+ years later. A lot has changed in the last half century within the trucking industry, but Pavlock Trucking has adapted every step of the way.

Team
Since 5 years old Mike Pavasko Jr and Sam Sherlock III have spent an unmeasurable amount of time together from their shared love for wrestling. This friendship has went from practice partners, to collegiate teammates, to business partners. On the day to day you can find Mikey heading the sales department, while Sam manages our LTL division and oversees all things related to accounting.
The Pavlock Trucking family grew from a lot of these wrestling connections. During their college years, Mike and Sam had a roommate named John Pezze. Soon after graduation he joined the Pavlock team and has been a critical part of the company's success. John manages the tracking department, carrier relations department, and our accounts receivables.
Another name that is included in the Pavlock Trucking family is Patrick O'Malley or also known as "Pomo". Pat and Mikey grew up together in Munhall. He was in management at the Post Office before coming on with the Pavlock team. Pat is the head of account management at Pavlock. He is a transportation expert when it come's to moving shipments over the road. "Pomo soft cuhz" -Caden Cope
During his time as a collegiate wrestling coach, Mikey Pavasko got a chance to coach a true freshman at East Stroudsburg University named Dan Makagon. "Watching Dan step into the starting role at heavyweight during his true freshman year made me his biggest fan." said Mike Pavasko. Highlighting his attitude, work-ethic, and ability to be coached. Dan is a director within the sales ranks at Pavlock. He manages the entire New Jersey office.
Another critical team member is Mikey Pavasko's mother, Joycelyn Pavasko. She brought 25+ years of customer service experience to the finance/accounting department at Pavlock.
